About Us
We’re a group of mates brought together by a shared fascination with sunken ships, downed aircraft, and the stories they carry beneath the surface. Our passion lies in uncovering the history behind these wrecks and documenting them through detailed photogrammetry and photography.
Many of our adventures began during our time with Brisbane Water Aqualung Club (BWAC), an independent dive club and boat based on the Central Coast. What started as weekend dives gradually evolved into a deeper commitment to exploring, recording, and preserving maritime heritage.

Andrew H
Andrew has been diving for over 35 years and is an open‑circuit decompression‑certified diver. From trekking through jungles in search of wartime relics to exploring remote wreck sites, he’s driven by a lifelong curiosity about the events that left these vessels where they now rest. He has spent many years filming and photographing shipwrecks across the Pacific, creating impressive panoramic mosaics that capture the scale and atmosphere of each site.

Dean C
Dean has been diving for over 25 years, progressing steadily from open water certification through to mixed‑gas rebreather diving. A lifelong aquarist, he has a deep appreciation for marine life and the environments that grow around wrecks. His interest in shipwrecks is also shaped by his background as a plant mechanic, giving him a unique respect for the craftsmanship and engineering behind these machines—and the stories they continue to tell on the seafloor. Dean often takes on the role of logistics and safety diver, during photography sessions so the team can focus on capturing the site, as well as the critical role of fish woosher.

Grant T
Grant has more than 25 years of diving experience and has trained in mixed‑gas rebreather diving to reach some of the more challenging and remote wrecks. A self‑proclaimed nerd with the hardware to prove it, Grant has built submerg3d a computer capable of processing massive high‑resolution image sets. Through plenty of trial and error, he has taught himself the full photogrammetry workflow allowing dark, low visibility photos to be turned into models such as the Currajong.
